Location check

We assess whether the location is suitable for drone filming and review the applicable regulations. Some areas require special permits.

Flight plan

We draw up a detailed flight plan covering the desired shots, flight routes and safety measures.

Weather check

On the day itself, we check the weather conditions. If there is too much wind or rain, we reschedule to a new date.

Filming

Our certified pilot captures the footage in 4K quality. You can watch along live on a monitor.

Post-production

Frequently asked questions about drone filming

No, strict rules apply to drone flights. For each enquiry, the VidéPro team assesses whether deploying a drone is feasible and permitted. Some locations are difficult, hazardous or simply prohibited under current regulations — such as near airports, in nature reserves and in busy city centres. We take care of all necessary permits and exemptions.
Alongside regulations, weather plays a crucial role in drone filming. If there is too much wind (above Beaufort 5), rain or fog, we cannot fly safely. We therefore always schedule a backup date. You only pay for footage that is actually captured.
We film in 6K cinema resolution using the latest DJI drones, including the DJI Inspire 3 and Mavic 3 Pro. This produces exceptionally sharp, vibrant footage with a dynamic range that matches professional film productions. We can also shoot at higher frame rates for smooth slow-motion effects.
We work exclusively with the latest professional DJI drones. For most productions we use the DJI Mavic 3 Pro or DJI Inspire 3. These drones offer 6K resolution, excellent stabilisation and a wide dynamic range for cinematic footage.
Yes, all our drone pilots are certified in accordance with European regulations (EU drone regulation). They hold the A1/A3 and A2 certificates. We fly exclusively with insured drones and adhere strictly to all safety requirements.
Absolutely! Drone footage is often part of a larger video production, such as a corporate film, event video or promotional film. We align the drone shots seamlessly with the rest of your video. This is also frequently more cost-effective than booking drone filming separately.
A typical drone session lasts 2–4 hours, including set-up, flying and pack-down. The actual flight time per battery is approximately 25–30 minutes. We always bring multiple batteries to ensure we can capture sufficient footage.
The cost depends on the location, duration and complexity of the shoot. A half-day drone session starts from €495. Please get in touch for a tailored quote. Combining drone filming with other video services is often more cost-effective.
